The West Virginia Agents Political Action Committee is a state political action committee that supports candidates in West Virginia who serve at our State Capitol in Charleston.
West Virginia Legislature
The West Virginia Legislature shapes the laws that guide our state’s insurance industry. Big “I” West Virginia works closely with lawmakers to advocate for fair, balanced policies that protect consumers, strengthen independent agencies, and support a healthy insurance marketplace.
The Insuror
The Big “I” WV Insuror is the association’s official monthly newsletter and magazine, published by the Independent Insurance Agents of West Virginia.
The West Virginia Office of the Insurance Commissioner (OIC) is the state agency responsible for regulating the insurance industry in West Virginia. Its mission is to protect consumers, ensure a stable insurance marketplace, and enforce state insurance laws.
Working closely with the Big “I” advocacy team, InsurPac, the Big “I” federal political action committee (PAC), supports efforts to promote, protect and strengthen the independent agency system.
Congress plays a vital role in shaping the laws, regulations, and national policies that influence how insurance operates across the United States. While most insurance regulation occurs at the state level, federal decisions made by Congress help define the overall framework, financial stability, and business environment in which the industry functions.
